Family, in its various incarnations as singles, couples, and parents, is one of the many cornerstones of the LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered) community, and is at the heart of the Gay Family Foundation. In fact, the unique forms of family that permeate the LGBT community created the very need for and the mission of the Gay Family Foundation: to encourage, inform, support, and empower our community by providing services which ensure social, financial, legal, and medical protection.
To that end, GFF offers a comprehensive network of professional resources and technical assistance products to individuals and community organizations in an array of practice areas. These practice areas range from health and legal services to financial planning and capacity building services specifically targeted to meet the unique needs of the LGBT community and those who serve this community.
Practice Areas:
- Capacity Building
- Healthcare
- Legal Practice
- Financial Management and Planning
- Adoption Practice
- Civil and Holly Union resources
